How I deal with my allergies

How I Deal With My Allergies
Fact of the day~every three minutes, a food allergy reaction sends someone to the emergency room

Hey everyone, I am so sorry I have not been posting lately. I am starting a new blog schedule! My blog schedule is every Monday is a peanut, tree nut, and allergy blogs., every Wednesday is eczema blogs and every Fridays blog is asthma blogs.  Today's blog is about how I deal with my allergies!  I hope you like it!!
There are many ways that I stay safe with my allergies. One thing I do is check the ingredients list when ever I eat something even if I already ate this food before, just making sure no ingredients changed. Also if i eat out or go anywhere with food I always ask and make sure to tell who's making my food all my allergies.
Finding new food that is safe can be really hard! How I find my safe food is I always look up safe food and I always look at food for a peanut crossed off it always makes my day! Also if you live close to Canada they have so much allergy free food. My family and I make a trip up there every month! Canada also has Kits K
ats thats are peanut free Twizzlers, Oreos, Chips Ahoy, and ice cream. My favorite food from Canada is the Kit Kats and the ice cream!
Finally, allergies aren't always fun but why not make them fun!  I make my allergies fun by writing blogs,  giving everyone facts about ways to help your allergies, asthma, and eczema, it is super fun! Also you can always joke about your allergies like, don't call me peanut I'm allergic. There are many ways to make your allergies fun. Always make your allergies a good thing not a bad thing.  Don't let your allergies get you down make them, make you stronger as a person.
Thank you so much for reading my blog! I hope you really enjoyed this blog and have a more positive impact on your allergies! I thought this would be a great blog because you guys don't know that much about me so I thought I would tell you how I deal with my allergies. Always remember make your allergies a good thing not a bad thing. Make your allergies make you stronger as a person.
Peace out

Always believe

Always Believe

Fact of the day: About 24 million americans have asthma. This is 8.6 percent of children and 7.4 of adults
Hey everyone, I'm sorry I haven't been posting a lot. I've been very busy but I have decide to write a blog for everyone today! so todays blog will be about allergies and asthma, but not facts or ways to stay safe. Its about believing that your allergies and asthma will go away. so i hope you enjoy!
Allergies are a big thing in our world today. Over a millon kids and adult have allergies, but there's not many cures. For allergies you don't have to have a cure. Some people just outgrow their allergies, even though it may take a long time to outgrow your allergies never means you should stop believing that your allergies will go away.  You always need to believe that your allergies will go away.
Asthma is also a big thing in our world today.  Over a million adults and kids have asthma.  Usually people outgrow their asthma. There are control medications, but a natural ways to control your asthma can be exercising and keeping your lungs healthy and strong.  Also taking vitamins is a good way to help your asthma. Most of the time you get asthma young and outgrow it when you are a adult. Even though that seems like a long time doesn't means you stop believing  your asthma will go away, because you can outgrow asthma
I have had allergies and asthma my whole life and I'm 13, thats 13 years of having allergies and asthma. I've always thought that my allergies and asthma would never go away. Then I thought what if I could outgrow my allergies and asthma. So I started to believe that my allergies and asthma would go away and I  thought I would tell everyone to also believe and stay determined to outgrow your allergies and asthma. To this day I still believe I will outgrow my allergies and asthma.
Thank-you so much for reading my blog! I thought this would be a great blog because many people think they will have allergies and asthma there whole life. You always got to keep believing!

Allergy Birthday

Allergy Birthday

Fact of the day: Peanut is the most common allergy, milk is the second most common, and selfish is the third most common allergies in the world.
Hi everyone, Im sorry I have not been posting, I have been focusing on school but now I'm on summer vacation so I can start posting more! In this blog I will be talking about what it's like turing 13 with food allergies. I hope you enjoy!
My birthday is May 26, 2004 and I'm turing 13, which means I have been on this earth for 13 years and have never gotten epi-pened!! Knock on wood! Turing 13 is a big deal because im a teenage, but being a teenager still means you have to stay safe. I was never able to have a store bought cake so instead me and my mom always made a homemade cake which still felt extra special!!
Even though you are turning a different age does not mean you stop being safe! There are many safe cakes out there and there is many safe cake supplies such as Pillsbury and Betty Crocker cake mixes. also Betty Crocker's sprinkles and frostings are safe also. We usually use Pillsbury cake mix and Betty Crocker froasting but there all safe so it is up to you!!
Thank-you so much for reading my blog. I'm sorry that this is such a short blog but I still hope you enjoyed. Also I will be starting this new thing called fact of the day which is on every blog or day I will be posting a fact about food allergies, asthma, or eczema!! Always remember even though you are turing a different age does not mean you stop being safe!!!
Peace out,                                                                                                                                            Izzy✌️🎉

Hospitals,ambulance,asthma and more.

Hospitals, ambulance, asthma, and more

Hey what's ups everyone I'm sorry that I have not been blogging but I am finally writing and I have big story to tell!! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New Year!!
It all started on December 26.   It started with a cold and most asthma kids may know when you get a cold your asthma comes!! My cold started to get so bad that I could not even catch my breath. We held off to go to the hospital because we thought I would be fine. It hit night time and that's when it went down hill. We ended up going to the hospital and I was not happy.... So we got there and they said I had a bad virus and this thing called pneumomediastinum.  Pneunomediastnum is when air leaks from your lungs and it created bubble in your chest and your neck and it hurts!! There is no treatment for this but they ended up putting me on oxygen and the ICU department watched over me . A fear of mine is getting an IV and guess what they did it, they put a IV in me.  I was so scared but the positive thing was it made get better faster!!!
If you didn't know my biggest fear is ambulances and guess what i had to do, ride in one. They sent me over to another hospital because I needed more intensive care.  I ended up staying the night and I got no sleep that night. The next day it was the same I got breathing machines and medicine and everything but I could not eat. All the hospital food came in contact with peanuts so I was so hungry.  My dad went home to get me some food. We were so far away from home so it took like 3 hours because my brother was also sick at the time so he had to take care of him too.  Finally my dad came back and at the time the nurse came in and said that I had to stay the night again. I was so sad I started to cry.  I had to wear this mask for oxygen and I hated it and I could not take it off to sleep I was so sad and on top of it I was hungry.  All through the night I could barely sleep.  I pretty much only got 3 hours of sleep.
Then came the next day.  I was so sick of the hospital but the good thing is that I was feeling better! They came in and told me the plan. They said I have to stay here for a little longer and they have to get me off the oxygen and by 1:00 pm I was off the oxygen!!  They also said I have to take two more breathing machines and I have to be able to walk because I was so weak. I was feeling so much better and all I wanted to do is go home! Finally it was 5:00 and they said I could go home but first they had to make sure I was good. They listened to me and made me walk and guess what I was good to go!! At 7:00 pm I was on my way home!!  When I got home I wanted food so my mom made me soup!!
I home now and I am feeling much better but I still have those pesky bubbles!! Thank you so much fro reading my blog!! I hope to be able to write more!! I hope everyone had a good Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
Peace out,                                                                                                                                Izzy💗🚑

What Its Like To Be A Allergy Kid On Thanksgiving

What Its Like To Be A Allergy Kid On Thanksgiving

Hi everyone, I was able to write again and since Thanksgiving is tomorrow I decide to write about what it's like to be a allergy kid on Thanksgiving! On Thanksgiving I was always able to to have all the dinner food but when it comes to dessert I was never able to have the pumpkin pie or the apple pie or any store bought food which really sucked because I really liked those pies. Also since I can't have fruits or vegetables I could never have corn, peas or carrots with my meal.
There are many good things about Thanksgiving like, the turkey.  My family always makes sure the turkey is safe because thats the best part haha! One of our traditions is that we like to name our turkey!! Comment down below what you think we should name our turkey this year!! Another good thing about Thanksgiving is spending time with your family and I always feel safe with my family!
Some good ways to stay safe on Thanksgiving is check all the labels.  I suggest if you really want to be safe is to call on the product you are trying to research.  I do this because if you didn't know companies do not have to put process in a factory that has peanuts and tree nut which is just not right. Ok lets get back on topic haha, another way to stay safe on Thanksgiving is always have safe foods I always hate to be left out. If you think you will feel left out then make your own safe food! That is what I do my favorite is lemon pie and cookies!!
Thank-you so much for reading this blog! I really hope these tips help you have a safe and fun Thanksgiving. I can't wait to eat that nice juicy turkey made by my Grandma!! I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving feast, and family,  have a happy Thanksgiving!!!
Shout out to Grandma Harriet for cooking the best dinner. Happy Thanksgiving!
Peace out,                                                                                                                                        Izzy🎉

Asthma Facts And More

Asthma Facts And More

Hi everyone! In this blog I will be talking about asthma. Usually around this time my asthma is really bad because if you didn't know asthma is bad around cold or winter. Some people's asthma gets that bad that they get pneumonia. I have had pneumonia about 2 times and let me tell you it was not fun.
If you didn't know asthma can be triggered by allergies, exercise, smoke, cold, sickness, and allergy reactions. I could never do any running sports because of my asthma if I did do any running then I would have a asthma attack.  If you were wondering the symptoms of asthma attacks well then here you go, some symptoms of asthma attacks are wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath, and tightness in the chest. Another fun tip on asthma is if you are having a asthma attack and you don't have your breathing machine I suggest you carry a inhaler.  I carry around my inhaler where ever I go just like my epi-pens.
Some things to help your asthma is having a purifier in your house this helps clear and clean the air.  Our family has one and when you breath in the air it feels so much more clean then before!! Sadly there is no cure for asthma but there are ways to naturally help your asthma like taking vitamins and making sure your house is allergy proof like making sure there are no dust mite, dust and mold in your house. There are so many more ways to help your asthma naturally but these are just a few I really hope they helped you!!
Thank-you so much for reading my blog. I really hope those facts helped you with your asthma or your kids asthma. I have suffered from asthma my whole life and I would like to share some facts about asthma to help other people!! Also Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for my family! I cant wait to write more blogs for you guys and I can't wait for that yummy turkey haha!!!!
Peace out,                                                                                                                                                Izzy
This weeks shout out goes to: http://nut-freemom.blogspot.com                                                   I really like your blogs and I think that are so cool!!

What its like to be allergy kid

What Its Like To Be A Allergy Kid

Hi everyone in this blog I will be talking about what its like to be a allergy kid! There are so many kids in the world that have allergies. The most common allergies are peanut and tree nut, pollen, egg, soy, milk, and wheat. Many people suffer from allergies. In the United States 50 million people have allergies.
If you are a allergy kid you know when someone is eating that yummy peanut butter cookie or those boiled eggs with that wheat bread you have always wanted to try you get so frustrated and sad that you can't eat it. That is how an allergy kid feels everyday. Allergies make you feel different, kinda like an alien! One of my dreams is that one doctor out of the 15 million doctors in the world find a cure for allergies!
I have severe peanut and tree nut allergies. Once a teacher was eating a nutter butter cookie in class. I got very scared.  I check labels all the time and I know what I can have and can't have. I carry a epi-pen where ever I go. I think every allergy kid should carry a epi-pen where ever they go.
Thank-you for reading my blog. This blog was mostly about how I feel as a allergy kid and some facts about allergies. I can't wait to post more blogs about allergies asthma and more!!
This weeks shout out goes to......  https://zpretzsportzone.com   Twitter:@zpretzsportzone He is my brother and he makes a blog about sports! If you love sports this is the blog for you.
